Megan Selvey, Esq.

Megan Selvey is a dedicated attorney at Bivens & Associates, where she guides clients through the legal complexities of elder law, estate planning, probate, and special needs planning. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, Megan helps families protect their assets, secure public benefits, and make informed decisions for their loved ones. Clients appreciate Megan’s ability to simplify complex legal matters, think proactively, and balance technical solutions with empathy.

Megan serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) and has volunteered for other organizations such as One Step Beyond, Inc., and the Down Syndrome Network. She frequently presents to parents, support groups, and nonprofits on topics like special needs planning, guardianship, public benefits, and estate planning. She has bee n selected by Super Lawyers, reserved to only the top 5% of attorneys, for multiple years in a row.

Ms. Selvey is a third-generation Phoenix native. She attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate studies and chose to return to Arizona after graduating from University of San Diego School of Law in 2014 to serve her community. She has been inspired in part by her grandfather’s service in the U.S. Navy during World War II, an influence that still resonates in her dedication to service and family. He was an important part of her life and is part of the reason she initially began to practice elder law.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children — hiking, reading (especially WWII history), and exploring Arizona’s natural landscapes.
