Andrea Claus is originally from Minnesota, but she has called Arizona home for many years. Andrea received her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her law degree at the Phoenix School of Law, where she was honored to be the recipient of the Governor Raul Castro Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and graduated Cum Laude. During her time in law school, Andrea received commendation for her many hours of pro bono work. As a founding volunteer of the legal clinic for Save the Family, Andrea spent the majority of these hours assisting victims of domestic violence and the homeless. Andrea served as a Rule 38 attorney for the Juvenile Public Defender’s Office at Durango, and also served as a law clerk with the Attorney General’s Office in the Civil Rights Division.

Andrea’s areas of expertise include estate planning, probate and trust administration, charitable planning, business formation, and business succession planning. She has experience in planning for both taxable and non-taxable estates. Andrea takes a comprehensive approach to estate planning and sincerely cares for her clients.

Andrea and her husband have three beautiful daughters and enjoy spending time outdoors together. Along with her legal practice, Andrea is also a member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and is active in both the legal and philanthropic communities. Andrea serves on the Board of Directors for UMOM, the Professional Advisors Council for SARRC, and the Financial Health Advisory Council for HonorHealth. She is also a member of the Arizona Women’s Lawyer Association and belongs to the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate & Trust section.
